NATIONAL RHODODENDRON GARDENS

The recent Ikebana displays and demonstrations at the National Rhododendron Gardens in Olinda on the 23rd September were spectacular.

NATIONAL RHODODENDRON GARDENS - JAPANESE ARTS

On Sunday 23 September at the National Rhododendron Gardens, Georgian Road, Olinda, Hanami Day will feature a range of traditional Japanese arts including calligraphy, origami, tea ceremony, drumming and ikebana.

There will be ikebana demonstrations at 11.30, 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30.

The gardens are vibrant with spring colour and the cherry blossom promises to be in full bloom. A great day for a picnic in the hills.
